My experience with twitter so far has been great. I love interacting with the people I follow, and seeing their tweets. My favorite twitter accounts recently have been the funny tweets. Especially tonight with the Super Bowl, and the new commercials I loved seeing the funny tweets on twitter.

I think the digital divide is a major issue effecting schools across the world today. Especially during the unprecedented times of covid and zoom school, the digital divide is getting even worst. For some kids they have had no issues doing zoom school because they can easily access the internet at home and most likely from multiple devices. For some kids this is just not the case, and therefore they are punished by not being able to attend school for something they have no control over. In my classroom, I will continue to do most things that have to be done at home on paper. I think this is the best solution to ensure that everyone has the resources needs to succeed. If the kids have a project coming up I will give them in class time to research and use the internet that way they don't have to worry about doing it at home.

Basically, academic software is software that is used in schools or for educational purposes. In my classroom I will use fun software like Kahoot, or other review games to review material that we have gone over in class. Depending on the school I teach at I might use apps such as class dojo, or google classroom. Overall I think academic software is an important way to help kids succeed in the classroom.

Badges are like online trophies you can earn for completing different tasks. I had never really learned what badges were till this week. I think it's a great reward system because we all need a gold star or a round of applause sometimes. Learning about them unlocked a memory of how Snapchat used to give out badges after you completed whatever task, and you could go and look at all your "trophies". Educational wise and other than that I have never earned a badge before but I'm excited to  in this class! Personally I never really shared my badges just because it was from snapchat and I just felt as if it wasn't really like a big deal, and I guess they were not because they ended up getting rid of them. I think for this class though I will definitely share my badges as a sense of accomplishment for my work.
